The Art Competition
The Art Competition will be divided into different age categories;
7 or under, 8-11 and 12-18 age groups.
Introduction
The theme for the 2010 Art for Life Prize is 'Love', particularly the power of Love to comfort and heal. All participants are encouraged to produce original artwork and poetry inspired by our theme which captures and share with us just what a difference love and caring can make.
General
Art for life is an online submission competition.
Entries will be accepted from 2nd December 2009 to April 1st 2010.

Submission Requirements
- All artwork should be works on paper and can include photography.
- All images must be accompanied by the participants name, age, dimensions, title of the work and full contact details.
- Participants have complete freedom as to medium of expression and size of work.
- Images can only be submitted over the internet and must be in JPEG format, with minimum resolution of 3000 pixels in the largest dimension and maximum image size of 5MB.
- Participants can enter up to two JPEG images.
- Participants should send a scanned image of their artwork using a flatbed scanner, or a photograph of the artwork using a digital camera.
- Participants are encouraged to include a written statement in support of their work.
- Entrants will not be notified of receipt of their entries.
- All data submitted to the contest via the internet, including image data and personal information, will be managed by the Breathing Life Trust.
- The Breathing Life Trust reserves the right to print entries for exhibition and to use winning entries in future publications to publicise the Trust's activites. All entries will be accompanied by their respective credits.
- Winning entrants will be notified from April 24th 2010. The decision of the judges will be final.
