The 'Art for Life' Prizes for Art
The 'Art for Life' Prizes For Art will be awarded in the following categories;
- The 'Art for Life' Prize for best Art Work in the age 7 or under category
- The 'Art for Life' Prize for best Art work in the 8 to 11 age category
- The 'Art for Life' Prize for best Art work in the 12-18 age category
- The 'Art for Life' Marfin Laiki Bank Special Award for outstanding artistic originality
- The Breathing Life Trust Special Award for outstanding artistic content
- The Costakis Perdikos Special Award for Art
- The winner of the The 'Art for Life' Marfin Laiki Bank Special Award for outstanding artistic originality will receive a £1,000 prize to be donated to a childrens' charity of their choice. Prize winners in all other of the Art categories will each receive £250 to be donated to a childrens' charity of their choice.
- The Prize winners will receive an invitation to the Fine Art Society in London for a tour of their galleries and lunch with Toby Clarke Art Director of The Fine Art Society.
- The Prize winners, 2nd and 3rd placed finalists will all receive 'Art for Life' trophies.
- The Prize winners, 2nd and 3rd placed finalists artwork will be exhibited during a Gala Event to be held at the Hellenic Centre in London on November 1st 2010.
- The Prize winners, 2nd and 3rd placed finalists will be invited to talk on London Greek Radio about their winning artwork on the Saturday programme of Vasilis Panayi on April 3rd 2010 at 1pm.
- The Prize winners will have their work featured on The Breathing Life Appeal Cards, The Breathing Life Trust promotional material and on the home page of The Breathing Life Trust web site www.breathinglife.org

The 'Art For Life' Prizes for Poetry
The 'Art For Life' Prize For Poetry will be awarded in the following categories;
- The 'Art For Life' Prize for outstanding poetry written in English.
- The 'Art For Life' Prize for outstanding poetry written in Greek.
- The 'Art for Life' Marfin Laiki Bank Special Award for most original poetry
- The Breathing Life Trust Special Award for outstanding poetry
- The Costakis Perdikos Special Award for Poetry
- The winner of the The 'Art for Life' Marfin Laiki Bank Special Award for most original Poetry will receive a £1,000 prize to be donated to a childrens' charity of their choice.
- The authors of the winning poetry in all other categories will each receive a £250 prize to be donated to a childrens' charity of their choice.
- All Prize winners, 2nd and 3rd place finalists will have their poems read and recorded for broadcast on LGR London Greek Radio by leading British actresses Helen Millar winner of the Alan Bates Award for Best Newcomer, and Stella Fyrogeni, one of the leading young actresses of Cyprus.
